Case Conceptualization and Decision Making Points in EMDR Therapy with Children and Adolescents
Duration: 18 hours | Reduced Fee: $430 | Regular Fee: $480
This workshop series centers on the pivotal role of case conceptualization and decision points that form the essential connective tissue in EMDR as a comprehensive psychotherapy approach. Anchored in the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, the series equips clinicians with a transtheoretical lens for decision-making, integrating attachment, Polyvagal, and dissociation theories to guide intentional, informed choices throughout treatment.
Through four thoughtfully designed modules, the series emphasizes identifying key decision-making markers across the phases of EMDR, enhancing treatment effectiveness by addressing each client’s unique needs. This approach empowers practitioners to adhere to EMDR’s core principles while flexibly responding to the complexities of each client’s journey, fostering a deeply attuned and impactful therapeutic experience.
The modules include:
- Module 1: Decision-Making Points in Phase One – History Taking and Treatment Development
- Module 2: Decision-Making Points in Treatment Planning and Organization
- Module 3: Decision-Making Points in Phase Two – Preparation Phase
- Module 4: Decision-Making Points in Phase Three – Assessment Phase
- Module 5: Decision-Making Points in Processing Phases
- Module 6: Decision-Making Points in Closure and Reevaluation Phases
Participants have the option to register for each module individually.
